Protest on Health Care Reform at the Supreme Court

As most of us know quite well, the U.S Congress has been debating how to fix the broken health-care system for a long time. As many as six Presidents before President Obama have tried to fix American health care delivery. On February 24, 2009, just a few months after his election, President Obama promises Health Care Reform during his first address to join Session of Congress

President Obama successfully reached or achieved his goal of passing health care into law in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. As a result, for the first time, millions of Americans under the age of 26 and Americans with pre-existing conditions qualify for care.

According to the court, the state of Florida appealed the case.

From March 26 through 28, the Supreme Court debated whether the law is constitutional. Activists from all sides of this national debate gathered on Capitol Hill at the entrance to the Supreme Court, to have their voice heard. The nine Supreme Court justices will now deliberate behind closed doors and make their decision by the end of June.
